The aim of the course:
Gaining students writing skills. Arousing students' interest and desire to write.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : To be able to present their views on a certain subject in writing in accordance with a plan and rules.1,2,3,41,3
LO - 2 : Students will be learn to express their thoughts produce ideas, comment and eliminate incorrect usage.31,3
LO - 3 : Students will study different essay types and make the effort to produce the same.61,3

Contents of the Course
Language and communication. Who is the author? Why is the article written? What is writing / typing? How to gain writing skill? Principles that can be effective in the development of writing ability. Features that should be present in a good narrative. The importance and functions of writing. What are the common semantic and syntactic expression defects? Spelling and punctuation rules. The text and the conditions of being a text. How to write an article? How to write a preface? What should be considered in the abstract writing? How to write a CV? What are the specialties to be considered while writing a petition?
