Within the scope of the Anatolian Archaeology course, students should be acquainted with the cultural developments throughout the ages in Anatolia. In the course, the cultures that ruled the region from Çatal Hüyük, the oldest city in the world, to the Assyrians, Hittites, Phrygians, Greeks, Romans and Byzantium will be examined chronologically. The cultures living on Anatolian lands, archaeological remains of these cultures, ancient cities, settlements and finds will be examined.
