The aim of the course:
To give information about the sources of modern Ottoman history.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : To recognize and sort the sources of modern Ottoman history and to evaluate their contents1,111,
LO - 2 : Recognizing the font types of Ottoman Archive sources and knowing in which areas each type of source can be used to produce information1,111,
LO - 3 : Reading, understanding and analyzing at least one of the source collections2,5,111,
LO - 4 : Comparing the data obtained from sources with existing information and questioning its accuracy through internal and external criticism method2,4,5,121,

Contents of the Course
To create content analysis by focusing on chronicles from modern Ottoman historical sources with examples. In addition, to comprehend the archive catalog information and the classification groups that include the resources, to introduce, sample read and analyze some resources produced by institutions. In addition, to be able to produce information by using at least one of the ways of using modern Ottoman historical sources and the trends in producing information.
