In the process, the students are expected to understand the historical background of the important social issues that make up the dynamics of today's Turkey. |

| In this course, the history of Turkish Republic will be examined and analyzed in a conceptual framework with current issues subjected to classroom discussions. The main social issues of Turkey will be discussed with special focus on their Turkish political tradition and in relation to its effects on current politics. |
