The aim of the course:
Purpose of the Medical Microbiology II course. To develop the skills and knowledge of the methods applied in the laboratory and to provide the necessary information to apply them.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Must be able to recognize the materials coming to the bacteriology, parasitology and mycology laboratory, follow the processes of the cultures,1,31,
LO - 2 : Must be able to know the methods to be used in the bacteriology, parasitology and mycology laboratory and understand the working procedures of the methods.1,31,

Contents of the Course
Characteristics of gram (+) cocci and bacilli, gr (-) cocci and bacilli, enterobacteriaceae, non-fermentatives vibrio, aeoremanas, plesiomanas, camplobacter, helicobacter, mycobacteria, anaerobic bacteria, diagnosis in the laboratory. Laboratory diagnosis of protozoa, helminths, arthropods, parasitic infections. general characteristics of fungi, fungal infections, laboratory diagnosis
