The aim of the course:
To teach clinical diagnosis and clinical education, phase I periodontal therapy, risk assessment, prognosis, the treatment plan, advanced diagnostic techniques, periodontal treatment of medically compromised patients, periodontal therapy in the female patient, the aging periodontium, treatment of periodontitis, acute gingival diseases, treatment of periodontal abscess, plaque control, chemotherapeutic agents, periodontal therapy in patients with HIV infection, mobility and its treatment, Orthodontic- Periodontic relations, Endodontic- Periodontic relations, general principles of periodontal surgery, gingival curettage, treatment of gingival enlargement and gingivectomy, the periodontal flap, periodontal plastic surgery, regeneration, bone surgery and furcation defects, recent advances in periodontal surgery, results of periodontal treatment, supportive periodontal treatment, implant surgery and disease and patient psychology.
