The aim of the course:
In this course, students must understand all theroical knowledges for using them in clinical situations.

Contents of the Course
The importance of radiographic examination in children and facilitative techniques in pre-school children.Radiographic diagnosis according to age groups in children.Treatment planning in pedodontics.Properties of equipments used in pedodontics. Factors effecting the dental system of the patient. Pain problems and innervation in children and local anaesthesia in the child patient. Premedication in the child patient and treatment under general anaesthesia. Rubber-dam applications in children.Pulpal diseases and diagnostic methods in primary teeth.Pulpal treatments in primary teeth. Materials used in the treatment of pulpal pathologies of primary teeth.Encouragement of root development in young permanent teeth. Distribution of abscess and gangrene in children.Indications and contraindications in primary teeth.Tooth extraction and risk factors in children.Usage of drugs in children.Prefabricated crowns in children.Pediatric dentures.Dental trauma in children.Advanced restorative procedures in children.The effects of hereditary factors on dental tissues and their treatments in children.
