The aim of the course:
It is aimed for Term IV dentistry students to recognize dental anomalies, recognize odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts and know their radiographic features, and recognize odontogenic and non-odontogenic benign tumors and know their radiographic features as a result of a 14-hour theoretical course. It is aimed that Term IV students will be able to recognize the hard and soft tissue diseases that occur in the oral cavity and perform radiographic examinations as a result of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology clinical practices.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Recognizes and classifies dental anomalies. Explains and distinguishes dental anomalies. It may be associated with syndromes that may be related to dental anomalies.1,71,2,4,
LO - 2 : Defines cysts and knows the common features of cysts. Classifies cysts. Knows the clinical and radiographic features of cysts and makes their differential diagnosis.1,71,2,4,
LO - 3 : Describes the general characteristics of odontogenic and non-odontogenic tumors. It classifies odontogenic and non-odontogenic tumors according to the tissues from which they originate. Knows the clinical and radiographic features of tumors and makes their differential diagnosis.1,71,2,4,

Contents of the Course
In this course, students; Dental anomalies, odontogenic and non-odontogenic cysts and benign tumors in the jaws will be explained.
