This course aims to teach product tanker traınıng, chemıcal tanker traınıng, liquid gas tanker training and tanker operation training

Contents of the Course
Regulations and codes of practice for oil tanker, chemical tanker and liquid gas tanker. Cargo characteristics, cargo operations, repair and maintenance, emergency operations, design and equipment of tankers. ISGOTT.

 Week 5General information about using of tanker simülations.
 Week 6Control features of the simulator which related to liquefied gas loads and features, recognition of the ship.
 Week 7Oil tankers and chemical tankers with the relevant national and international rules.
 Week 8Mid-term exam
 Week 9Oil tanker operations.
 Week 10chemical tanker operations.
 Week 11Environmental pollution prevention policies.
 Week 12Repetition of basic radar plotting. Viva exam and evaluation of student assignments.
 Week 13Navigation with radar in closed seas and waters with heavy traffic; national and international rules.
