The clinician must understand, although the endodontic treatment is acceptable at radiographic and clinical perspective, if the restoration is not able to complete this endodontic treatment the quality of the root canal treatment turns into unimportant. |

Primarily, to be comprehended physical and esthetic changes in endodontically treated tooth structure, the amount of remaining sound tooth structure has to determine. Restorative treatment planning for endodontically treated teeth is taught. Definition of teeth position and loading of occlusal and other forces are noted. Thus, exposing of restorative and esthetic requirements are reviewed. The importance of ferrule and the correct diagnose of the restoration type are showed. Additionally, post types, core types, post space preparation, correct post selection, correct core selection that is most approprite to the individual post have to been demonstrated. Final and provisional restoration are discussed. Then, the interrelationship between restorative procedures and endodontic success is conversed. Additionally, how will restorate the periodontally compromised nonvital tooth is explained. The teeth which were earlier endodontically and restoratively treated have to been learned how is evaluated at endodontic, restorative, periodontal and esthetic perspective. |
