Contents of the Course
Physicopathologic relationships between dentin and pulp are described and caries is discussed in detail. In the first step, using clinical and radiographic examination methods, whether vital pulp therapies indicate or contraindicate is noted. Secondly, after removing caries the correct diagnosing achievement is evaluated. Anesthesia in endodontics and preparation of patient and operatory are taught. Usage of instruments and materials in vital pulp treatments are demonstrated. Direct and indirect pulp capping and partial pulpotomy techniques are described. And then, reactions of the pulp to treatments and materials and treatment prognosis are evaluated. Latterly, regenerative endodontic treatments are told in detail.
