Course aims to give students basic knowledge regarding earth works and designing of railways

Contents of the Course
Preparation of road substructure; excavation of soil, principles of filling, methods of compaction. Drainage systems. Superstructure of railway. Railway cars. Carriageway motion equation and application. Geometric characteristics of rail carriageway. Stations.
