The aim of the course:
To introduce students a general picture of the construction industry together with the contemporary management topics and to provide them with basic information on principles of construction project management and increase their awareness on major tasks of a construction manager.

Definitions, profile of the construction sector; company and site organization; types of contracts; bidding laws; general construction specifications; construction project management; organization and management of construction sites;planning methods, GANTT bar diagrams, CPM and PERT methods; risk management.
