The aim of the course:
The aims of this course are to develop skills in interpersonal and group communication, nonverbal communication, effective listening, critical thinking and reflection, and small group and public speaking.

Contents of the Course
The elements, characteristics, and processes of verbal communication will be discussed, including the importance of verbal communication; eye contact, gesturing and body language; structuring a message for effectiveness; clarity and accuracy of speech; use of appropriate language for the context and audience; and use of nonverbal communication to support a verbal message. Topics such as interpersonal communication, as well as public speaking and presentation skills, will also be explored.
