Continuation of basic techniques etudes and works in intermadiate level. Practicing scales (four octaves in C major and A minor ) with the cadences, and sight-reading exercises. Basic piano technics: Posture and hand position; staccato, legato, phrasing. Scale & cadenza (in 1 key at least; with parallel motion) . Basic piano repertoire: Etudes & exercices; pieces from various musical periods ( appropiate to student?s level) . Sight reading: 2 clefs. Musical expression: phrasing and basic dynamics. |
