Within the scope of the course, students are expected to plan, write, and revise their research in accordance with academic writing conventions and ethical principles. |

| This course focuses on the differences between academic writing and other types of writing, and on the main features of academic writing in the social sciences. It introduces basic academic writing techniques and ethical principles, and develops students' reading and critical thinking skills through academic texts. Using a process-based approach, students practice planning the parts of an academic paper and building arguments with appropriate sources. Through practical activities, assignments, and a final project, students gain experience in writing clear, coherent, and formal academic texts. |
