The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to raise awareness among planning students about migration, an increasingly important phenomenon worldwide, and to highlight the processes of adaptation and integration of migrants into the city.

Contents of the Course
The course covers the definition, theory, and theories of migration movements, examining the phenomenon at the regional and urban levels. The relationship between migration movements and urbanization processes is explored. In addition to the spatial effects of migration on the places of departure and arrival, the social, economic, cultural, and socio-psychological impacts of migration movements are also discussed within the scope of the course.
