The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to examine the administrative and financial structure of local governments in different countries and the administrative and financial structure of local governments in Turkey in a comparative method.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Explain the historical development of local government units in Turkey.1 - 2 - 8 - 91,
PO - 2 : Compare the administrative structure of local governments in Turkey with the administrative structure of local government units in different countries.1 - 2 - 8 - 91,
PO - 3 : Compare the financial structure of local governments in Turkey with the financial structure of local government units in different countries.1 - 2 - 8 - 91,
PO - 4 : Analyze the administrative and financial autonomy of local government units in Turkey by comparing them with the case of different countries.1 - 2 - 8 - 91,
PO - 5 : They can explain the source of the differences in service delivery of local government units. 1 - 2 - 8 - 91,
