The aim of the course:
The course aims to critically explore advanced research paradigms in applied linguistics and literary studies, equip PhD candidates with the knowledge and skills to design, conduct, and publish original scholarly research, engage them with epistemological, methodological, and ethical debates shaping language and literature research, train them to formulate research that contributes theoretically and practically to the field, and foster awareness of publication processes and the academic "publish or perish" imperative.

Contents of the Course
Basic definitions, the purpose of science, problem selection, literature review methods, experimental design, data collection and analysis, statistical methods, reporting techniques, presentation preparation, ethics, and research ethics will be addressed.
