The aim of the course:
With this course, it is aimed that students will have knowledge about the boiling phenomenon, onset of boiling, flow patterns, flow instabilities, micromanufacturing techniques, transition from macro to micro-scale in boiling, important dimensionless parameters in flow boiling in microchannels, heat transfer characteristics and experimental data reduction techniques.

Contents of the Course
Boiling phenomenon and basic concepts, investigation of onset of boiling in terms of microscopic and macroscopic view, flow patterns and flow instabilities, transition from macroscale to microscale, micro manufacturing techniques, important dimensionless parameters in flow boiling of microchannels, heat transfer characteristics and experimental data reduction.
