The aim of the course:
To raise awareness about workplace-related risks among students and provide information about occupational health and safety legislation and measures.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Electrical energy and definitions, Effects of electric current on the human body, Methods of protection from electricity, Static electricity, Low voltage grids, Safety in electrical installations, Maintenance and repair in electrical installations, Risk management in electrical work, Health surveillance and occupational diseases, Occupational health and safety in the design, manufacture, and use of work equipment, Controls and documents required for occupational safety, Legal responsibilities in occupational health and safety, Basic first aid.
