The aim of the course:
This course aims to help students recognize Russian idioms (phraseologisms) in terms of meaning, origin, and usage, use them accurately in context, and relate them to their Turkish equivalents. Students will develop communicative competence by understanding the cultural background and linguistic functions of idioms.

Contents of the Course
The course covers the structural and semantic characteristics of Russian idioms, their classification, historical development, and Turkish equivalents. Students analyze idiom usage in various text types (literary, journalistic, conversational) and perform contextual translation and application exercises.
