Students will develop communicative competence by understanding the cultural background and linguistic functions of idioms. |

| The course covers the structural and semantic characteristics of Russian idioms, their classification, historical development, and Turkish equivalents. Students analyze idiom usage in various text types (literary, journalistic, conversational) and perform contextual translation and application exercises. |
