The aim of the course:
The main aim of this course is to enhance students? ability to analyze advanced Russian texts in terms of linguistic, cultural, and stylistic features, and to translate them into Turkish accurately, fluently, and contextually. Students are expected to develop a critical approach to translation and to formulate strategies suitable for different text types.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
The course is based on the translation of selected advanced-level texts. Students translate literary, academic, technical, legal, and media materials into Turkish with cultural awareness. Emphasis is placed on semantic shifts, stylistic differences, terminological accuracy, and genre-appropriate expression.
