It introduces the main characteristics of Russian cinema, includes films from various genres and historical periods, enriches vocabulary and phraseology, and strengthens communication and interpretive skills by deepening cultural background knowledge. |

| It provides a general introduction to Russian cinema and aims to develop students? linguistic and cultural competence. Feature films are used as authentic material for listening and speaking practice. Attention is given to colloquial vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context. Through film adaptations of 20th-century Russian literary works, students are introduced to historical and social background, enabling a deeper understanding of Russian culture. |
