The aim of the course:
the aim of this course is to teach the students the process behind enlightenment, the ideas of enlightenment thinkers and enlightenment's impact on todays world.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
In this course the socio-economic context behind enlightenment, the ideas of major enlightenment thinkers, the relation between enlightenment, capitalism and modernisation will be analyzed.
