The aim of the course:
The aimof this course is for students to learn about the Enlightenment thought, its dynamics, its period and its effects on the present day, and to understand important thinkers and their ideas.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 2 : Knows the conditions that paved the way for the emergence of the Age of Enlightenment.7 - 12 - 14 - 161,
LO - 3 : Analyzes the enlightenment era, major thinkers and their ideas.7 - 12 - 14 - 161,

Contents of the Course
In this course, topics such as the social and intellectual environment that led to the emergence of Enlightenment thought, the idea of ??enlightenment, prominent thinkers, and the impact of Enlightenment thought on today will be discussed.
