JLJ4000 | Graduation Design Project - II | 2+2+0 | ECTS:5 | Year / Semester | Spring Semester | Level of Course | First Cycle | Status | Compulsory | Department | DEPARTMENT of GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERING | Prerequisites and co-requisites | DC must have been achieved from JLJ4001-Engineering design | Mode of Delivery | | Contact Hours | 14 weeks - 2 hours of lectures and 2 hours of practicals per week | Lecturer | Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Muhammet Oğuz SÜNNETCİ | Co-Lecturer | All Faculty Members of the Department | Language of instruction | Turkish | Professional practise ( internship ) | None | | The aim of the course: | The students will be able to identify and define, formulate and solve the geological engineering problems, and to be able to realize the solutions. In this direction, it is aimed to gain the skills of choosing analysis methods for solving problems, using observational (field observations) and experimental and computer aided studies. As a result of this course, it is aimed to prepare an independent geological study in thesis format by the students under the direction of an academic advisor. In this direction, it is aimed to develop the thesis writing skills in accordance with the given format by carrying out literature research, field studies and laboratory studies within the framework of the subjects given to the students. |
