The aim of the course:
Gemstones have been used by people for thousands of years to promote their religion, to heal or to protect from disease, and for investment purposes. This behavior of the people continues today at different rates. One of the current problems is the increasing number of imitations on the market among real stones. The aim of this course is to inform students about the basic properties, formation, production, cutting and market prices of precious stones and the historical process.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
