The aim of the course:
The course has three main objectives. To introduce students to Earth Sciences topics, to provide examples of original pieces related to the topics, to develop the language skills they need while studying a topic in English and to use this skill while learning.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn the English equivalents of different geological terms and concepts. 1.1 - 1.2 - 1.3 - 2.1 - 2.21,
LO - 2 : develop ability to translate from English to Turkish or from Turkish to English.7.21,

Understanding of the given part. Testing the meaning. Developing vocabulary, especially in earth sciences. Testing grammar. Writing studies on a specific topic.
