| Paleontology and fossils, fossilization process, taxon, taxonomy and species concepts, taxonomic hierarchy, ichnology and classification of trace fossils. Zoological nomenclature: lettering rules in paleontology, derivation of name in paleontology, principal rules in definition of the fossils. Classification of animals according to their life style and classification of marine environments. Invertebrate phyla: Porifera, Archaeocyatha, Coelenterata, Bryozoa, Brachiopoda, Mollusca (Pelecypoda, Gastropoda, Cephalopoda) , Arthropoda, Echinodermata (Echinoidea, Crinoidea, Cystoidea, Stelleroidea) , Hemichordata, Micropaleontology: Foraminifera, Radiolaria, Calpionellids, Algae. |
