The aim of the course:
At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to define the phenomenon of crime sociologically, to interpret the phenomenon using concepts and theories, and to discuss its current appearance as a social problem.

Contents of the Course
In this course, the definition and scope of criminology, research methods used in criminological studies, sociological approaches that deal with the phenomenon of crime, and the relationship of large-scale social processes with the phenomenon of crime are discussed.
