The aim of the course:
Historical past of stage design course with theatre stage and television set design, its evolution, its nowadays condition, the place of an interior architect and importance of his/her in this kind of design and practice. Inform the importance about, practices intended for design.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : distinguish the characteristic specialities of theaters in antique Greek, antique Rome, renaissance, 18-19. century, classicism, romanticism, realism.11,3

LO - 3 : carry out decor of theatre according to subject with using the perceptional values for any senario.5,93,4,5
LO - 4 : student will perform television set design which contains any program format.5,93,4,5

Contents of the Course
Research on the relationship of sitting action and sitting element studying socio-cultural features carefully under the titles: Archaic Eygpt, Mezopotomia, Greek, Rome, Middle Age, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, New Age (1453-1789) , The Period from 1789 A. D. to the Present, Early 20th Century, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, De Stijl, Bauhaus, Mid-20th Century, Pop Culture, Post Modernism, End of 20th Century

 Week 1The concept of the stage, stage decor. Historical development of the scene (Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece, Medieval)
 Week 2Historical development of the scene (Renaissance, 18th and 19th century, 20th century and later)
 Week 3Scene design Scene types (1.environment with scene, 2.the framework stage)
 Week 4Decor design sought properties. Ornaments need to be considered in making the points of scene design.
 Week 5Decor underlined. Perceptual values (lines, colors, accessories)
 Week 6Panels, heights, ladders.
 Week 7Scene samples (with visual and video). Discussion.
 Week 8Creating groups and distribution of scenarios. Homework: Preliminary research and game design posters.
 Week 9Mid-term exam
 Week 10Presentation of the game and draft project
 Week 11Project presentation and discussion.
 Week 12The project's final report. With examples, television set design, principles of design. Creation groups and the selection of television programs which will be set for . Homework: Preliminary research.
 Week 13Presentation about selected television program and a presentation about the draft project
 Week 14Project presentation and discussion.
