The aim of the course:
The aim is to provide students with basic material knowledge, starting from the structure of the atom, and to provide information about the principles of traditional production methods, the factors affecting production, and the areas of application.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Recognizes the structure of the atom and the bonds between atoms and establishes a relationship between the physical and mechanical properties of the material.2,41,
LO - 2 : Knows the crystal structures formed by atoms, crystal defects and atomic diffusion2,41,
LO - 3 : Learn the experiments applied to determine the mechanical properties of materials.2,41,
LO - 4 : Learn phase diagrams and learn about alloys2,41,
LO - 5 : They gain basic knowledge about production methods2,41,
LO - 6 : They gain the ability to determine the method and process for manufacturing a product.2,41,
LO - 7 : They have the infrastructure to follow current issues regarding manufacturing methods.2,41,
