Contents of the Course
Introduction. Basic and auxiliary operations in mineral processing processes. Optimisation of energy consumption in comminution circuits. Pulp transfer and pumps in mineral processing processes. Pump types. Centrifugal pumps and pump selection. Waste generation and its management in mineral processing. Storage of tailings. Potential environmental impacts of tailings.
