The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on physical features of different layers of the earth, and mineralogical and chemical composition of the earth crust, to be known them about outer dynamic processes (physical and chemical weathering, abrasion and transportation and sedimentation-diagenesis) , topographic features on the earth surface, layer and layered structures, tectonic deformations of layered rocks, inner dynamic processes (earthquakes, orogenic and epirogenic movements, magmatism and volcanism, metamorphism) , and plate tectonic

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : make students well- informed about dynamic earth system2,4
LO - 2 : provide students to contact with different types rocks, environment and areas2,4
LO - 3 : make students catch on the phenomenon of tectonics, metamorphic conditiond and magmas2,4
LO - 4 : make students catch on the different depositional conditions2,4
LO - 5 : give students the experience of results of the applied2,4
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
