Introduction to geology: definition and subdivisions of geology, history of the geology, location of the earth in the solar system, main physical features and layered internal structure of the earth. Materials of the earth crust: chemical composition of the globe and earth crust, mineralogical and petrographical composition of the earth crust, minerals and main features, rocks and main features, magmatism and magmatic rocks, Weathering, abrasion and soil formation sedimentary basins and sedimentary rocks, metamorphysm and metamorphic rocks. Geological time: concept and principles, geological aged. Earthquakes, the interior of the globe, deformation in the earth crust and deformation structures: joints, faults and folds.
