For this purpose, the institutional structure of the state, both in the center and in the provinces, the situation, and relations of the managers and the governed in this structure will be discussed. In this context, the social and economic structure of these elements that make up the Ottoman society will also be analyzed. |

The main objective of the course is to analyze the social structure formed by people from different languages, religions, and origins during the six hundred years of existence of the Ottoman Empire. In this context, the principles of the management philosophy that the Empire applied during the establishment, rise, decline, and collapse periods will also be discussed. Within the scope of the course, the structure of the central and provincial organization, institutions and the officials of these institutions will be discussed, the changes that took place in the state administration and social structure in the 17th century will be examined from religious, legal, economic, and cultural perspectives and how the 19th century modernization efforts affected the state and the groups that make up the society will be analyzed. |
