FOUNDATION & HISTORY  
Macka Karadeniz Technical University School of Law on Higher Education in 2547 and 2880 dated 17.02.1998 has been established in accordance with Article 7/d-2. Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme 1998-1999 Pre-license education Education / Training began in the education.
QUALIFICATION AWARDED  
Graduates of the associate degree program, students are awarded Fisheries. 1. When the student graduates, training courses and modules during the show gained a diploma qualifications specified in the annex. 2. The student leaves without completing the program, qualifications gained during training, courses and modules are given a certificate. 3. The program given to the professional qualifications, career development, work life, all other programs, certificate programs, and the transitions are evaluated when prompted.

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - Higher Education Council in accordance with relevant legislation, is determined by OSYM.
OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME  
Three faculty members (Instructor) and carried out educational activities. High school along with the physical and human facilities are used.
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
The program is available (for a total of 120 ECTS) to successfully complete all courses of at least 2.0 weighted GPA of 4.00 to obtain.
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS  
The students each semester, midterm, final interior work (projects, quizzes, homework, laboratory, and the like, or a second mid-term) and are subject to the final exam. Mid-term exam, final exam grades and semester studies are over 100 points. 1. Midterm% 30; 2. Midterm 20%; Final Exam 50%
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS  
Student, 120 ECTS credits by completing all the courses available to successfully complete the program graduate olur.Programda at least 2.0 weighted GPA of 4.00 to obtain.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Students who graduate from the program in line with qualifications gained in the fisheries, Fisheries and Aquaculture sector, manufacturing, aquaculture, processing, feed production and hunting tools, providing construction services firms, are employed in the public institutions.
