Objectives of the Programme :The department aims at providing its students with a broad knowledge in all fields of forest industrial engineering, developing students? ability to determine and solve forest industrial engineering problems, educating students to have sufficient knowledge and experience on advanced level in forest industry engineering, and improving their computing skills.

LO-1 : Use professional and engineering knowledge at advanced level
LO-2 : Design, develop, and apply methods and experiments at advanced level to solve forest industrial engineering problems, and analyse and interpret their results
LO-3 : Identify, plan and solve advanced forest industrial engineering problems
LO-4 : have an advanced ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams
LO-5 : have an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility at advanced level
LO-6 : Understand the necessity for life-long learning, and use the methods to keep up to date on advanced geological experience obtained
LO-7 : Have the basic knowledge and skill in tree physiology, climate change, forest fires, insects and pests, forest health and productivity
LO-8 : have an advanced knowledge of contemporary issues
LO-9 : Use tools and techniques required for forest industrial engineering applications at advanced level
LO-10 : Using a three dimensional perspective, think, interpret, analyse and solve forest industrial engineering problems at advanced level
