ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - University Entrance Exam (YGS) with a score of adequate education and training, students are entitled to the Department office management
OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME  
Effective communication and makes the manager's office, the correspondence, organizing meetings, office management and perform the efficient use of office technologies, innovation, educating people on the developments.
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
The students are required to have passed a grade of at least DC all the courses in a curriculum, at least 2.00 through 4.00, and have achieved a weighted average of 60 days is to be completed compulsory internship.
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS  
Each course is assessed via a midterm exam, a second mid-term exam composed of quizzes, homework and assignments, and a final end-of-term exam, with contributions of 30%, 20% and 50% respectively. The students are required to get at least 45 form end of term exam. The marking is made out of 100. Grades of 81-100 is assigned a letter grade of AA, 76-80 BA, 70-75 BB, 60-69 CB, 50-59 CC, 45-49 DC, 40-44 DD, 30-39 FD and 0-29 FF. The AA is the highest grade and has a grade credit of 4.00, BA 3.5, BB 3.0, CB 2.5, CC 2.0, DC 1.5, DD 1.0, FD 0.5 and FF 0.0. Grades of AA to CC are pass, DD to FF fail, and DC is conditional pass and requires a CGPA of at least 2.0 for that term. The details given for each course in the programme include the detailed assessment methods together with a description of the second mid-term exam.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS  
At the end of the four semesters, the students completing 120 ECTS and getting the grades CGPA at least 2.00 over 4.00 have right to graduate. In addition to this, the completing of professional training-consisting of 60 days - is a condition to graduate.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Executive secretaries of the private sector and public institutions, various enterprises and public and private administrations, municipalities, associations, chambers, bar associations, such as are employed in the relevant sections of the institutions. Also, law, medicine, engineering, architectural offices of the executive secretary of basic needs can be best elements.
ACCESS to FURTHER STUDIES  
The students graduating from the department are offered opportunity transfer to the undergraduate programs in their fields with The Examination for Vertical Transfer of Two-Year College Graduates (DGS), undergraduate programs in their fields. The Graduates of Associate Degree Programs can apply to the Undergraduate Programs of the Open Education Faculty, they can also apply to the formal education programs for vertical transfer. There is no limitation here, and the candidates who wish to make Vertical Transfer to the Undergraduate Programs of the Open Education Faculty, do not need to have this exam.

DEPARTMENTAL FACILITIES : 
The students use the library, information on campus with wireless Internet capability can be achieved quite easily and projection lessons taught in classrooms. In addition, thanks to social services for the campus to take their leisure time opportunities are available in a variety of activities.
