FOUNDATION & HISTORY  
Karadeniz Technical University School of Tourism and Hotel Management Higher Education Law No. 2547 Law No. 2880 7/d-2 and 7 / h, was established in 2003 pursuant to number 1852/019205 dated 10.09.2003. But the college in 1988, Trabzon Vocational School of Economics and Administrative Programs within the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management Program began as a training and education. Tourism and Hospitality Management Program in 2002, separated from the structure of Trabzon Vocational School, the Vocational School of Tourism and Hotel Management was restructured
QUALIFICATION AWARDED  
Associate Diploma is entitled to receive. University student to have received any disciplinary action other than during the excitation, provided that at the end of a semester grade point average of at least the normal course load that semester honor students with a student of 3:00 to 3:50, 3:51 to 4:00 between the students are considered a high honor student

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - Vocational programs in college admissions, the first classes, organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center is based on the results of selection and placement exams. The students must fulfill the following conditions for the finalization of records: a) graduate from high school or equivalent, indicating that a school must present a diploma or official document, b) not to be impaired and other aspects of health status or military service.
OBJECTIVE of THE PROGRAMME  
5. associate degree program that aims to bring the level of academic and vocational qualifications. Seven lecturers and educational activities are carried out by a specialist. Enterprise High School and Social Facilities Apply physical and human facilities are being used.
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
At least 120 ECTS / ECTS credits must be complete. To successfully complete all the courses available in the program on a 4.00 weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 must be to achieve.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS  
Four semesters (of 60 Business Days, including an internship) program, which is the total training time must successfully complete the 3000-3600 time. Associate diploma be awarded to the student's overall grade point average is at least 2.00, and 60 working days of internship are required. Graduation GPA is calculated on a 4.00 scale, and educational status is indicated on the certificate.
OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Tourism industry of goods / services for businesses, public institutions and organizations are employed in producing. After providing the legal conditions for open and operate their own businesses.
ACCESS to FURTHER STUDIES  
Students, after receiving a two-year pre-graduate diplomas and academic average of those good ones that passed the test of vertical transmission to the relevant sections of the universities or departments of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty of Business Administration degree in four-year colleges can sign up and can receive without examination, as a continuation of the academic master's and doctoral can.
