The aim of the course:
To give information about ANSYS and XFLOW softwares which are used in shipbuilding engineering to solve problems such as advanced fluid daynamics and mechanics.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : get knowledge about advanced fluid daynamics problems in naval architecture1,4,63,
LO - 2 : set up meshes for any case1,4,63,
LO - 3 : learn turbulance models and boundary conditions1,4,63,
LO - 4 : use ANSYS Fluent for simple problems1,4,63,
LO - 5 : use XFLOW for any fluid mechanics problems such as six dof ship motion1,4,63,

Contents of the Course
Mechanics and strength analysis and advanced fluid daynamics in Shipbuilding Engineering department, softwares used for these analyzes, ANSYS and XFLOW, setting up models for ANSYS and XFLOW softwares.
