The aim of the course:
The objective is that the student introduce vessel structures and determine the dimensions of these structures in accordance with Turkish Lloyd Class Rules

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Boundary condition concept, vessel midsection structure, vessel structural parts, beams, brackets, frames, to dimension vessel structural parts, tanktop panel thickness calculation, upper and bottom decks, moment of inertia of profiles, moment of inertia of vessel midsection, bulkheads, Turkish Lloyd Classification Rules, minimum thickness concept, effective length concept.
