The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to give knowledge to the students about the Marine Electronics and its applications.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Have basic electrical and electronics knowledge 11,
LO - 2 : Know the contents and working principles of sensors, transducers and electronic devices used in the ship. 11,
LO - 3 : Knows the meaning and importance of communication and today's modern communication system components. 11,
LO - 4 : Learns electronic navigation devices in ships11,
LO - 5 : Have knowledge about electronic information devices.11,

Contents of the Course
Basic electronics knowledge. Electronic elements. Ship electronics, Communication Systems. Electronic navigational devices on ships; sonar, echo-sounder, radar, gyro compass. Electronic research equipment on ships; hydrophones, autopilot, GPS, Seismic survey equipment.
