Basic mechanics of materials definitions, loads affecting on vessels, determination of steel hull weights, longitudinally resistance of vessel, shear loads and moment diagrams on vessel, shear strenght curve, bending moment curve, strenght diagrams in the case of various wave conditions, transverse strength of vessel, different loading situations on beam, mohr method, cross method, constant points method, clapeyron method. |
