The aim of the course:
It is aimed to teach how to operate a shipyard effectively and define the block structures.

Planning and Production Methods in Shipbuilding, Construction Deadline Plans, Work orders and equipment discovery applications in Shipbuilding, Shipbuilding Capacities and Shipyard Efficiency, Subcontractors used in the shipyard and the man-hour concept, Sheet stock area capacity calculations, Profile stock area capacity calculations, Capacity calculations of sheet and profile pretreatment lines, Process analysis in shipbuilding, Product breakdown structure and group technology in shipbuilding, Ship production and stock management (MRP-MRPII-ERP-ERPII-OPT), Project management applications in shipbuilding (PERT-CPM), Assembly line balancing in shipbuilding, Shipyard layout, Identification and statistical evaluation of shipyard accidents
