The aim of the course:
The objective of this course is to teach students the basics of manufacturing processes. Students are to learn to select the best manufacturing processes and to gain a background necessary for advanced course on manufacturing engineering.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Mold preparation, Casting processes, Sand casting, The full-mold process, Shell mold casting, Ceramic molding, Investment casting, Vacuum molding, Permament-mold casting, Pressure die casting, Die casting, Centrifugal casting, Continuous casting, Melting and pouring, Cleaning, finishingi Welding processes, Fundamentals of welding , Fusion welding processes , Sold-state welding processes , Weld quality and weldability, Metal forming and sheet metalworking processes, machining, turning ang milling processes, powder metallurgy
