The aim of the course:
To study Revolution and similar concepts which prepare the Turkish Revolution and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire, the 1st World War, National reactions after the Occupation of Anatolia, to teach the Preparation Period of Turkish War of Indepence, Opening the Turkish National Grand (TBMM) , Abolishment of Sultanate, The Treaty of Lausanne Pact, Proclamation of Republic.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : understand how Atatürk tried to improve Turkish Republic in the fields of politics, economics, law, education and culture.81,3
LO - 2 : comprehend the importance of foreign affairs so that they will have the same ideas and ideals and behaviours as Ataturk had, with a consciousness of peace and stabilization with the help of Ataturk's principle of peace at home, peace in the world.81
LO - 3 : comprehend aims and the importance of Atatürk's principles to defend them consciously.83
LO - 4 : reserach various visual and written sources, materials and documents related to these subjects.81
