The aim of the course:
To give information to teacher candidates about main concepts for education, the properties of teaching, school and class environment, psychology, social, economic, historical, legal basics of education. The structure and problems of Turkish Education System, giving information on new understanding and radical ideas in education.

Contents of the Course
Basic concepts of education, Principles and characteristics of education as a science (philosophical, social, legal, psychological, economical, political) ; Historical development of education; methods in education, functions of education, Social change and renewal from the educational science point of view, teaching as a profession; practices and improvements in the field of teacher training (education) .
