The aim of the course:
Geodynamics is concerned with the fundamental processes, which drive the evolution of the Earth. The course provides the fundamentals necessary for an understanding of the workings of the Solid Earth in the context of plate tectonics and mantle convectio

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : possess mean information about dynamic earth.3,51
LO - 2 : understand cause and effect of dynamic events with helping plate tectonics theory.3,5,81
LO - 3 : compass and interpret cause and effect of dynamic influences in dynamic earth.3,5,81
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
