The aim of the course:
To discuss the social services and policies among the disadvantaged groups in the context of different welfare regime.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : To put forward the importance of social policies for disadvantaged groups.10
LO - 2 : The main different disadvantaged groups to address as a matter of social policy at the axis of social services. 10
LO - 3 : To include the original discussions for each group.10
LO - 4 : To consider the principle of social justice in solving the problems in the area of social policy and services of disadvantaged groups.10
LO - 5 : Understanding the new social problems for special groups and to bring concrete solutions.10
LO - 6 : Special groups will emerge in the field of social policy for the new issues to keep track of current developments and criticism. 10
LO - 7 : To analyze as conceptual and in-depth the current developments of special groups.10

Contents of the Course
Disadvantaged groups (children, elderly, handicapped, women, youth, ex-convicts, immigrants, veterans and families of martyrs, victims of human trafficking) reveals the importance of social policies for disadvantaged groups and the problems of the group and to examine the scope of social policy arrangements for these problems.
