The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge about social and cultural structure of Turkey, enable them to understand and evaluate social dynamics of Turkey. In this context, it is aimed to teach them social structure and its problems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn political, economic and social structure of Turkey from past to present2,3,41,
LO - 2 : make a critisizm about social problems of Turkey.2,3,41,
LO - 3 : have a background in the process of developing some suggestions in social problems not only in politics but also economics.2,3,41,
LO - 4 : to develop some suggestions in social problems of Turkey from communication perspective.2,3,41,
LO - 5 : present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise.2,3,41,
LO - 6 : The Students will be able to express the deficiencies of analyzing Turkey's education system.2,3,4
LO - 7 : The students will be able to have an idea about the history and possible future of the Turkish family structure.2,3,4
LO - 8 : They will be able to analyze the urbanization process in the world and in Turkey.2,3,4

Contents of the Course
Social dynamics of Turkey from a historical perspective, multicultural social nature and some communication problems... Reflections of Ottoman Empire's economic, political, cultural, social structure to the Republic Of Turkey, effects of Otttoman modernization, struggles in new democracy will be discussed in the course.
